FAQ

How many contributors will this zine feature?I'm glad you asked! Our zine will feature a total of 32 page artists, 1 cover artist, along with 8 writers and 8 merch artists. Will this zine be digital or physical? Our zine will offer both a digital and physical version to be purchased. Will contributors be compensated?Yes, they will! Each zine contributor(1) will receive a free bundle that will include the zine itself and the merchandise, if they wish as such. On top of this, profits will be evenly divided between our contributors via PayPal.Will this zine be SFW (Safe For Work)?Yes, our zine will be SFW, as we do not allow sexual content for it. While references to violent acts(murder) are inevitable to avoid, our zine will not display explicit/graphic depictions of it and we will offer Content Warnings where necessary.Where will the zines be shipping out from? Our shipping mod is located in the US west.**⦁ How will this project be organized? What is the theme of this fan-zine? **While our main theme of the zine is KomaHina & KamuKoma, it is divided into three sub-themes, or facets. These will be included in the works where it will be possible. Our project has the following sub-themes:☘ Understanding:The concept of understanding between Hinata/Kamukura and Komaeda is a motif throughout their relationship in canon. Their drive to understand one another is what makes them get so close to one another.☘ Duality:Hinata/Kamukura and Komaeda are opposite sides of the same coin. They are starkly different yet very, very similar. This is what makes them character foils, and rivals. Yin and yang, hence the zine’s usage of black & white accents.☘ Love Through the Ages / Falling in Love Over and Over:The development of Komaeda and Hinata/Kamukura’s relationship changes through each era depicted in this zine, yet it stays, which is the key focus of this zine. Despite how much they change or lose their memories they always fall in love and go back to each other in canon. This is the major motif of this zine, and will be incorporated where possible. Can minors apply for a contributor spot in the zine? After much consideration, we have come to the conclusion that our zine contributors will be, at minimum, 16 years of age or above. Can you apply for more than one contributor role?Sadly not. We want to have a diverse contributor cast where everyone has a chance to display their talented skills, and as such you cannot have more than one role at a time. You can send in an application for as many as you wish, but you will be given only one spot(2) if you get in!How much experience is needed? While we're eager to include both new and old artists from our fandom, we ask of Page & Merch Artists to possess moderate knowledge on anatomy, perspective and color theory. As for Writers, we ask that your English language level(Cambridge) is between B2(3) and C2(4). On top of all of this, we expect that you can handle grammar and possess the ability to fragment your text in cohesive paragraphs for a more pleasant reading experience. What happens to my piece after the zine's completion? After our zine's completion and potentially leftover sales, you are more than free to post your piece of work on your social platforms as you may please. My question has not been answered! We're really sorry to hear that! If you have any question that has not been clarified from our above FAQ or you wish for further information, please feel free to contact us on our Social Platforms and our CuriousCat!
